Air conditioning offers many benefits beyond cooling. It can provide a year-round climate control solution for a range of different environments. With dual-function, most new units boast an auto-changeover switch, enabling your unit to cool or heat as required for consistent thermal comfort.

Your system will have one indoor air conditioning unit, which will be either wall, floor or ceiling-mounted or ducted. The unit will be linked to an outdoor condenser via piping and a four-core cable. Your air conditioning system will be operable by either an infra-red remote or a hard-wired controller.

It takes around one day to install a single, complete air conditioning system, comprising an indoor air con unit and an outdoor condenser.

1. The air conditioning system pulls in air from the room through its coils and filters.
2. It either cools or heats it depending on the temperature it’s set to and the current room temperature.
3. It then recirculates the air back into the room at the desired temperature.

The sealed system uses refrigeration gas which does not get released, thereby offering an efficient and environmentally-friendly solution. Furthermore, as the gas is not released, no replacement is necessary.

Within the industry, the term HVAC is often used. It refers to heating, ventilation and air conditioning whereas AC simply refers to air conditioning. The terms are often used interchangeably as many systems provide both heating and cooling solutions.

A Manufacturer service includes a 20 point check to include checking the pipework, checking gas levels, full check of indoor and outdoor system, cleaning the filters and overall clean and check performance of system.
